yesterday was caturday. when i don't feel like drawing girls, i like to draw cats. i suppose, more accurately, i like to draw one red cat. this is the same red cat that likes vinyl. he likes to drink too.

the scare and the spark.

today i found a ups tag waiting for me when i got home. i wasn't expecting a package at all from anyone, so i googled the sender's name. according to google, it was from a security and fingerprinting place. all i could think was holy shit, what did they catch me doing? anyway, i was nervous the whole time at ups. imagine my surprise (and relief) when i finally opened up the box marked FRAGILE. new cds from the idaho falls. yay!!!

i'll take better pictures of the goodies when it's daylight.

i got an advance copy of girls rock the other day. i'm really happy with how it turned out! the designers did a great job. this was the reason i was never out last year. no free time at all.

i've never seen a book with only my stuff. it's kinda cool.
i'm ready to do another!

the friendly skies

several weeks ago, i was flying to hawaii and i came across this picture (above) in the airline magazine, hemispheres. for some reason, it totally reminded me of this piece (below) i did for the idaho falls album, concrete prairie, back in 2004. i don't think they are together anymore.
